Xolo Era is a new gen entry level smartphone especially for those who are low in budget. The 12.7cm that is 5 inch screen display packed with IPS technology promise to give 178 degree wide angle clarity without losing its crisp. A 2100 mAh, 1.2GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM and OTG support are its beast features. Even though these features are heavily leads the phone the few flaws and draws make this beautiful phone the ugly one which we will discuss later in the post. First lets see the bro points and then the cons.

• A 5" IPS display which provide fast color reproduction and 178 degree viewing angle is the one and best bro points of this entry level smartphone.  
• For a big screen and quad core processor your phone must be packed with big battery, not the biggest but 2100 mAh battery keeps your process to smoothly running for whole day long. 
• Xolo Era supports OTG (On the Go) cable and even packs a free high quality cable in the box. 
• A 4K smartphone which gives you the rich, premium feeling on hands.
• The base of this machine is Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset with 1.2GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. The Cons - 

• Xolo Era "Go Big" slogan does not match with its actual resolution. The 5" inch phone must have greater resolution despite its 196 ppi density and 480x854 pixel resolution. And also the 256K colors are not enough for such phone. 
• Capacitive display only supports 2 point touch. 
• No words on future OS update, also the 4.4.2 version is slight lower for such price tag. 
• On paper camera specification is good at the price but the phone might not maintain the quality in actual.  
• No Auto Focus support, a big loss for the 8MP shooter. 
• Flash Sale, Xolo Era not available to purchase from offline market place.

My Rating - 

The only best thing about this phone is its style, its simple and sleek. Both processor and its CPU is dull, 1GB RAM is not enough to make workflow smooth. The another big point is that its IPS display is optimized to enhance the color contrast.

Negative point - 8GB storage and only 32GB expandable, bit higher price for such specifications and gold variant looks inferior and does not matches with front's black. 

Well rating time, I rate its specifications out of 5 stars.
